Channeling Seth....

So I'm on the phone with Pier1 customer service. They sent me a new credit card which had offered 20% off of my first order. I just bought a condo in Brooklyn, and I'm buying a chair for my living room. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the letter offering me my discount. I managed to get someone on the phone who was willing to ask the Pier1 marketing department to mail me the coupon. I asked if they'd be able to email or fax it to me so I could get the chair sooner, and she said:

"They're the marketing department - they don't fax things."

I have no idea what that means, but I can tell you that I'm getting my chair somewhere else...
